Joyce Mauk, M.D.
Dr. Mauk received her undergraduate degree at University of Texas and attended medical school at University of Texas Health Sciences Center, San Antonio. She completed her internship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital in Hanover, New Hampshire and her neurology residency at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver. Following her residency, Dr. Mauk was a clinical instructor at University of Colorado and involved in research, prior to moving to Seattle and going into private practice. She also had the opportunity to work with Dr. Ian MacDonald, MS specialist, in London at Queen's Square during an externship. Dr. Mauk is board certified in neurology and also board certified in electrodiagnostic medicine.
Ellen M. Modell, M.D.
Dr. Modell received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where she completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in neurology and trained with the renowned expert in movement disorders, the late Dr. William Koller.
She has published in the field of medical ethics and has served on the medical ethics committee of Stevens Hospital. As a Board Certified general adult neurologist, she has focused on diagnosis and treatment of patients who have challenging neurological conditions. A former Medical Director of the EEG/EMG lab at Stevens Hospital, Dr. Modell is trained in the use of advanced imaging and electrodiagnostic tools to treat patients with epilepsy, MS, migraine, tremor, Parkinson’s Disease, carpal tunnel and neuropathy, as well as other neurological diseases.
Dennis Zhou, M.D.
Dr. Zhou (pronounce as "Joe") is board certified in Neurology and is active member of American Academy of Neurology. He is director of Stevens Neurophysiology (EEG and EMG) Lab in Edmonds, WA.
Dr. Zhou received his medical degree from the Tianjin Medical University in China. He did externship at the University of Vienna Medical Center in Austria and Aalborg Hospital, Denmark. He was research fellow at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, WA. Dr. Zhou completed internship in medicine at the Pennsylvania Hospital, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. He completed a residency in neurology and a fellowship in EMG/neuromuscular diseases at the Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA.
